This is a framed 4" X 6" print of a McDonnell Douglas C-9B Skytrain II. The C-9 was a version of the McDonnell Douglas DC-9 airliner. It was designated C-9A Nightingale for the US Air Force and C-9B Skytrain II for the Navy and Marine Corps. The C-9 was used for passengers, cargo and air logistics. The first Skytrain was the Curtiss C-47, a modified DC-3, used during WWII. The wooden military gray frame measures 6.5" X 8.5" and has a routered piece for hanging. A mounting screw and a dowel for displaying the frame on a shelf or desk is included.
