This 4" X 6" print of an AAI RQ-2 Pioneer drone has a military gray frame that measures 6.5" X 8.5". The RQ-2 was one of the U.S. Navy's first unmanned surveillance aircraft. The Pioneer used a rocket-assist to launch from a ship and a net to retrieve it. On land, it was launched by a catapult, or it could take off from a runway. The frame comes with a drywall screw for mounting on a wall and a dowel for displaying on a shelf or desk. Handmade in the US by a Vietnam veteran owned company, it is a unique item for all aviation enthusiasts to display.
